The 1099-R tax document for retired members were mailed January 27, 2021. If you are a New Mexico Educational Retirement Board (NMERB) retiree who is under the age of 55, please note: NMERB is required to use the code “1” on your 1099-R. NMERB previously coded these 1099- R’s with a “2”.
Where do I Find my Retirement Account 1099 R?
On your home page, under the heading My Retirement Account Information, click Documents. In the table listing your available documents, find your 2020 1099-R, which will have a date of January 2021, and then click on the icon at the end of the row to download your form (two pages, front and back).
